Creative Engagement: A Call to Action for Arts & Learning in Canada

The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning (CNAL) National Conference took place on March 25, 2015 in The Conservatory Theatre at The Royal Conservatory of Music. This inspiring event was hosted by the UNESCO Chair in Arts and Learning, The Royal Conservatory of Music, and celebrated the 20th anniversary of Learning Through the Arts (LTTA).

The National Conference welcomed close to 150 arts education supporters to debate key issues, learn about and share research, and discover inspiring new ways the benefits of the arts are being applied across many sectors of society. The day-long program featured dynamic speakers and presenters from the arts, business, marketing, academic and media worlds, as well as an array of live performances, and a Gala Tribute dinner recognizing the outstanding contribution of Peter Herrndorf O.C., President and CEO of the National Arts Centre for his exceptional work to support the arts and arts education.
