Janice Pomer was commissioned by the Royal Ontario Museum to create a movement installation for the Ancient Greek Gallery as part of the museums’ centenary celebrations and returned to ROM in 2015 for Pompeii: Under the Volcano.
Dance Cycle acknowledges the vibrancy of the near and distant past by paying homage to the pioneers of modern dance and the art of Ancient Greece that continues to influence and inspire the artists of today.
