The Canadian Institute for Digital Literacies Learning will take place from July 10-14, 2017 at the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa. As a friend of our Faculty, we thought you might be interested in joining us for this first-ever institute, and in becoming a founding member of this new network of digital literacies leaders in Canadian schools.

Institute themes include: Developing New Literacies Skills Through Inquiry, The Maker Movement, Video Games and Learning Interactions, and Critical Digital Video Design & Production.

Importantly, this institute is designed by teachers, for teachers and with teachers. Participants get a week of face-to-face learning in the summer and a year of just-in-time learning support online. Plus, everyone gets a digital badge, a t-shirt, lunch every day and the chance to learn with Canadian and International leaders in digital literacies teaching and learning.
