Omineca Arts Centre

The Omineca Arts Centre is a local interdisciplinary, non-profit, volunteer/artist-run centre grounded in arts-based community development. Centrally located in downtown Prince George our aim is to co-develop meaningful and collaborative artistic projects, experiences, and models for catalyzing local arts and culture. Our centre is a space of learning and interdisciplinary creativity for all art forms, including written and spoken word, performance, music, new media and visual arts.

The Omineca Arts Centre is located in a storefront in the pedestrian core of Prince George's downtown. Our aim is to co-develop meaningful and collaborative artistic projects, experiences, and models for catalyzing arts and culture in the Omineca region, while prioritizing inclusivity, responsiveness, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Omineca invites local, regional and visiting artists, curators, musicians, performers, authors & poets to connect and engage in projects and collaborate with us to support, enhance and drive the capacity and reality of the arts in Central and Northern British Columbia.
