Toronto Arts Council is committed to artistic excellence, innovation and accessibility, and supports a wide spectrum of artistic endeavours and a range of activity. TAC has been emphasizing the importance of increased arts programming throughout the city especially in the inner suburbs. This has been a focal point for our vision – Creative City, Block by Block.
Toronto Arts Council nurtures the city’s artistic scene, helping move forward the innovative hub of creativity and artistic excellence that defines Toronto today.
Towards this end, the Council has created a number of strategic initiatives designed to increase arts access including: support for youth-led arts projects; developing arts leaders; and supporting arts in schools, parks, libraries and historic sites throughout the city.
