The Seminar will explore how creative, artistic, and pedagogical processes have a direct impact on human development and community empowerment, placing the arts and pedagogy at the centre as effective tools for social transformation and community-building.

Who can attend?

  • Community-engaged artists, educators, facilitators, community educators, arts educators, professors, students, and interested public.

Participants will have access to the seminar through MUSE Arts’ educational platform, where they can listen to the recordings at their convenience, and interact with other participants via an online community forum.

Format: 20-30 min. talks, which are pre-recorded videos and made available to registered participants.

About the Festival:

HAPPENING Multicultural Festival, powered by MUSE Arts is the first and only Toronto festival created by community artists, giving center stage to the talent and skills of immigrant, newcomer, and refugee artists.
