Let's Talk Art: Legal Rights in Public Art
December 9 @ 6-7:30PM EST on Zoom

Do you know what your legal rights are as an exhibiting public artist, and how to protect yourself? From understanding contracts, to payment structures, copyright and image ownership, many artists learn about their rights through trial and error.

Presented in partnership with Artist Legal Advice Services, this webinar will provide Ontario-specific legal information that will help you advocate for yourself as a public artist. We will also have special guest Paola Gomez from Muse Arts talk about her experience in creating art for public spaces.

This webinar will have ASL interpretation and closed captioning. For other accessibility requests, please email ines@torontoarts.org by December 6.
