In my abstract works I draw heavily on my own imagination, bringing to life something from within. I distil the images, exploring form, colour and light, always working towards a cohesive whole. The painting process is diverse, from layers of thin glazes to heavy texture. The work is not complete until it feels right instinctively and has the power I desire.
