Having a deep love for and connection to nature, Dione Dolan’s artwork reflects where her passion lies and her inspiration is drawn from. Dione is a local artist. She moved to the west coast at a young age and quickly fell in love when she saw the vast and breathtaking wilderness of British Columbia: the rocky Pacific shoreline, the moss and foliage of the Pacific Temperate Rainforest, and ever transforming skies over the local Cascade Mountains; captured in many of her pieces. Dione began sketching as a child and as a self-taught artist, found her muse in the piercing eyes of wild creatures. Today her artwork focuses on communicating the many states of human emotion that are found, portrayed, and reflected in nature’s landscape.
