Born in Morris, Manitoba, Gaëtanne has lived in Montreal, Kitchener, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Calgary, making thirteen inter-provincial moves before coming back to Winnipeg after graduating from University of Waterloo with a BFA in 1990. She has been an active member of the art community, teaching, serving on boards and maintaining a studio in the Exchange District. Working primarily in clay, digital prints and mixed media installations, she has exhibited across Canada, and abroad.
