I work in oil and watercolor, with a commitment to painting from direct observation.

My focus follows both landscape and still life genres. I am continuously inspired by the great realist masters of the past, who would discover the beauty within the commonplace.

My paintings reflect this realism, although are inspired in response from abstract elements; appealing color, shape combinations, light and shadow patterns.
