Marie-Élaine is an artist who develops styles and techniques as the work flows. Studies in visual arts and graphic designs helped her develop her artistic thinking but the real learning path is accomplished while applying colours with the palette knife, researching the colours and the evolution of the inspiration. The artist loves working with all sorts of medium but has a small preference for acrylic and the palette knife. "This gives me an incredible sensation of freedom of movement. I rarely know the final effect of the painting but it is that surprise element that drives me and gives meaning to my work."
