Dorie Gold is a busy flute teacher and performer. She maintains a studio of enthusiastic students at the Conservatory of Music at Taylor in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Her students are awarded highest honours in Kiwanis and regional festivals, and consistently win coveted seats with the Edmonton Youth Orchestra. Many go on to post-secondary music studies. Dorie is in demand as a clinician throughout the Edmonton area. She has founded and directed several flute ensembles, including the Taylor Flute Ensemble. She is also the founding President of the Edmonton Flute Association. Dorie is a proud member of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers' Association.
