Jane has taught all ages from early beginner to grade ten levels including the three basic levels of theory rudiments. Her teaching style emphasizes a clear understanding of rhythmic, harmonic and technical fundamentals and especially finding enjoyment and personal expression in music. She is comfortable teaching a variety of musical styles from classical to contemporary, to children and adults alike, whether preparing students for exams and festivals or following their own course of study. Interested students are given the option to participate in RCM exams, the Kiwanis festival, student recitals and supplementary group exam preparation classes.
