I have been interested in art and design since I was a young child. I’ve worked in a variety of different mediums, but in the last couple of years I’ve focussed on painting and photography. Throughout highschool I took art classes and after attending post secondary school for fashion I learned many other aspects of art that I try to bring into my work. After living away from Tyendinaga and now coming back to open a studio and art gallery, I have been so inspired by traditional Native designs. I like to take these inspirations and add modern colours and design aspects. Do what makes you happy! I believe everyone should have some form of creative outlet and at the end of the day feeling fulfilled and happy is all that matters.
