My name is Blas Villagomez, and I am a visual artist and illustrator. I received my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of Chile in Santiago, Chile. I recently moved to Belleville, Ontario from La Paz, Bolivia, in August 2016. Just prior to moving here, I taught art from pre-kindergarten to Grade 11 at Highlands International School in La Paz, a Christian School. Since moving here, I have become involved in the art community as a member of the Belleville Art Association (BAA). I like to create a variety of art pieces – from portraits to landscapes to superheroes, in a variety of mediums including acrylics, watercolours, markers, and pastels. I am excited to become more involved in the Art Commnity in the Quinte Area, meet more artists, and share my work with others!
