The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning (Le Réseau canadien pour les arts et l'apprentissage) is thrilled to announce our National Conference Celebrating Canadian Diversity, October 18-20, 2017 in the stunning, cultural gathering space of the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health in Ottawa.
The 7th World Alliance for Arts Education Conference will be held in Auckland, New Zealand from 22-25 November 2017.
The aim of the conference is to share and build research and practice that evidences creative pedagogies in community and /or institutional contexts. Key features of the conference include:
• Recognition of diverse pedagogies and cultural practices. The conference will open with a traditional Māori welcome (Powhiri)
• One day of the conference dedicated to the Pacific
Join us for this lunchtime Eduarts Hub entitled Diverse Forms of Indigenous Arts in Education. Refresh your perspective with a professional development session while you network with your peers and make new connections in the arts and learning community, engage in discussion and help shape the Eduarts Map. Leave with new tools to rejuvenate your classroom, workplace or artistic practice.
