The only music school founded and managed by a major symphony orchestra, the VSO School of Music has welcomed over 7,000 students since it opened in 2011. Unique programs and performance opportunities are offered to people of all ages, abilities and aspirations in classical, jazz and world music.

MISSION: To enrich lives through the joy of learning, playing and performing the world’s great music; to make these experiences accessible to all, regardless of age ability, playing level or economic circumstances; and to nurture creative and engaged members of society through achievement in musical arts.
