Founded in 1977, the Manitoba Band Association is a non-profit charitable organization which fosters, promotes and encourages the establishment, growth and development of bands and band activity in Manitoba.

​We are supported by a membership of music educators, music students, community bands, industry partners, organizations, and others who share our goals.

The MBA is affiliated with the Canadian Band Association, the Manitoba Music Educator's Association, and the Coalition for Music Education in Canada.
