ADULT DROP-IN SUMMER SKETCHING BY THE RIVER

Every Wednesday evening in August; from 6:00 till 8:00.

Join us at Arts Council of NewWestminster for Summer Sketching by the River during the month of August.

Local artist and experienced art teacher Sherida Charles will offer drawing tips as you capture the beauty and movement of the Fraser River.

The Atlantic Centre for Creativity is hosting the Summer Arts Institute on Saturday July 17th, 2021! This is a one-day active workshop in beautiful Cape Brule, New Brunswick.

SUMMER POP!

Get ready for Summer POP! Join us this July for FREE online art activities, every Monday through Thursday. These daily artmaking breaks are open to children of all ages and you can do them all at home, inside or out! Each day has something new to offer.

Each activity is inspired by Andy Warhol and the Pop art movement and they're led by a team of creative AGO Art Instructors. You'll discover fun new ways to express yourself with themes like Volume, Repetition, Colour and Movement.

Please join me for the 11th instalment of Caitlin's Cozy Concerts, the concert series where you can stay cozy at home and not catch COVID! 

Get creative, get messy, have fun! In this four-day art extravangaza, you'll get to dive in to Gelli plate printmaking in the mornings, and then create functional ceramic art pieces in the afternoons.

A special opportunity to explore and enjoy the wonderful world of sculpture with artist Ruben Galdames Casorzo!

Over three different days you will transform a block of clay into a life-sized clay bust (from the neck up) of someone you know or wish to depict. In these three sessions together, Ruben will go through armature preparation, design and creation of your piece, clay sculpting, and preparation for firing and glazing. Basic underglaze colours will be provided by Ruben. If you would like special underglaze colours, please bring them along.
