Winspear Centre

The Francis Winspear Centre for Music is the physical - and spiritual - home of music in Edmonton. Artists and community are at the heart of Winspear’s success. The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO)has grown into a truly great ensemble whose members care deeply about music and it’s importance and place in Edmonton. The Winspear reaches out the broader community through the Tommy Banks Institute for Musical Creativity. The Banks, through learning programs and community partnerships, encourages Edmontonian’s of every age and circumstance to make music central to their lives.

The Winspear Centre, through the concert hall, Edmonton Symphony and the Banks, seeks to inspire a feeling of pride, to boost Edmonton's economy and attractiveness, and to reveal to the community the magic, wonder and transformational power of music.
