Conseil des arts du Canada - Déplacements - Créer, connaître et partager : Arts et cultures des Premières Nations, des Inuits et des Métis

The Travel component of the Create, Know and Share program funds artists, arts and cultural professionals (including artist representatives), cultural mediators, and First Nations, Inuit, and Métis arts groups, collectives, and organizations working in all disciplines. Grants support travel expenses incurred to attend significant events in Canada or abroad that foster professional development, enabling you or the artists you represent to create new opportunities or expand your presence in Canada and internationally.

If this is your first time applying, we strongly suggest you contact a program officer.

You may be eligible for Application Assistance, which is a sum of money to pay someone to help you with the application process if you are experiencing difficulties and you define yourself as:

  • an artist who is deaf, hard of hearing, disabled, or living with a mental illness;
  • an artist from First Nations, Inuit or Métis backgrounds facing linguistic, geographic or cultural barriers.
