À votre tour, vous serez invités à créer vos propres sculptures miniatures à l’aide de pâte à modeler, que vous pourrez ensuite installer dans votre propre jardin afin de l’égayer !

To get a little inspiration, a museum mediator will help you discover the imaginative treasures of the sculptures in our garden. You will then be invited to create your own miniature sculptures using modelling clay, which you can then place in your own garden to brighten it up!

Cantabile introduces its 2020 Virtual Voices Program – exceptional online vocal education for children, youth, and adults

Cantabile is currently accepting members for the 2020 Virtual Voices Program. Virtual Voices is Cantabile’s hallmark music education program, reimagined to integrate seamlessly into the online learning environment. By moving our programs online, Cantabile works toward creating meaningful musical experiences for our community, using song as a tool to bring people together when so much has been pushing us apart.

Centauri Arts is offering a NEW wellness program for teens, starting September, on Zoom. The purpose of the program is to focus teens on the importance of our emotional and physical wellness. Workshops will explore the role creativity plays in wellness, techniques to cultivate a positive mindset, how nutrition and physical health contribute to wellness, and an exploration of community. We'll look at how nature and the outdoors can improve our overall wellness, and touch on strategies such as meditation and mindfulness.

A 14-week Creative Writing Course for ages 12-18. Each worskshop includes writing prompts, an exploration of writing techniques and the opportunity to share your work with a supportive community of writers.  Poets, fiction writers and playwrights are all welcome - beginners and experienced. Class sizes are small to facilitate social distancing, and are held at our arts studio in West Toronto. We also host virtual creative writing classes, and a Saturday morning class for ages 10-15.

At Joy of Dance, we take great care to build up a child’s self-confidence. They can safely express themselves and explore their inner emotions through dance which leads to a stronger and healthy adolescence and adulthood.

Now more than ever dance has an important role to play in our lives, proven to benefit body, mind and soul. This Works & Royal Academy of Dance have collaborated on an eight-week online dance programme, launched Wednesday 1 July, to encourage reconnection with our bodies (and each other), through movement, creativity and self-expression in this ongoing period of uncertainty.

Our 14-week semesters will include virtual and in-studio classes in all areas of the arts, taught by arts professionals with many years of teaching experience. Options include: Theatre, Dance, Playwriting, Film Production, Fine Art, Digital Art, Design, Photography and Creative Writing.
