Playful Drama | Ages 6-8

Fee: $125
This course is a great introduction to the drama basics and covers a variety of topics including story-telling, character, sharing, movement, and theatre games. This is a wonderful way to help your child explore their imagination, learn new skills, and have fun! No experience required!
Theatre Arts Exploration | Ages 9 – 12

Saturdays 10:00am-12:00pm; September 11 – November 20, 2020 (No class October 9)
Fee: $250
This course is an all-inclusive exploration of the theatre arts. Students will be encouraged to discover a variety of dramatic techniques such as character creation, improvisation, movement, Shakespeare, scene study, and more! Have a blast creating and performing an original final presentation for friends and family. No previous experience is required!
Creation in Motion | Ages 9-12

Sundays 10:00am-12:00pm; September 12 – November 21, 2020 (No class October 10)
Fee: $250
Explore storytelling and harness imagination through physicality. Creation in Motion will encourage creative expression through movement, choreography, mime, balance, staging, and mask. Students will learn about teamwork, gain self-confidence, and be physically active, all within a safe and engaging environment. No previous experience is required!
Playwriting | Ages 13 – 17

This course is designed to give young performers a deeper understanding of the written world of theatre. Through examining the classic and contemporary text, students will be guided to explore the craft of playwriting and learn what it means to tell an effective story. No previous experience is required!
Improv for Teens | Ages 13-17

Improv is a great way to have fun and explore while bolstering creativity, adaptability, teamwork, and confidence. This course includes lessons in theatre sports, character development, story-telling, and many favourite improvisation games. Be inspired to think outside the box, learn something new, and have fun! No previous experience is required!

This course is designed to get your wee ones moving, playing, creating, and having fun! We will cover a variety of topics including storytelling, dance, yoga and theatre games.
Ready. Set. Act | Ages 6-8

This course allows participants to explore their creativity and imagination by learning the basics of theatre. We will cover a variety of topics including storytelling, character, movement, and theatre games.
Theatre FUNdamentals | Ages 9-12

This course is an all-inclusive exploration of the fundamentals elements of drama. Students will be encouraged to discover a variety of dramatic techniques such as character creation, improvisation, scene study, and more!
All The Worlds A Stage | Ages 13 – 17

Tuesdays 1:00pm-3:00pm; September 14 – November 22, 2021
Fee: $325
This course is designed to give young performers a deeper understanding of the world of Shakespeare. Using one play of study, participants will learn about the famous bard as it should be experienced – through performance!
If you do not see a homeschool program that works for you, contact us about our Customizable Cohort Classroom option. We will work with you to create a program that meets your and your children’s needs.
All courses will be adhering to all recommended COVID-19 health and safety protocols including masks, sanitization, and social distancing.
All courses, with the exception of our customized programs, are 10 weeks in length and will take place at the Pumphouse Theatre (2140 Pumphouse Ave SW) if not otherwise stated.
