FUNDING APPLICATION
There is no set form or mandatory procedure for applying for financial assistance from the Simple Plan Foundation. Each organization or individual is free to formulate their objectives and needs as they see fit and to submit their request by mail or, preferably, by email.
That said, it goes without saying that the committee reviewing the various applications needs sufficient information to assess the relevance of the submitted project to the foundation's mission, as well as the credibility of the organization leading it. The quantity of arguments is less important than their relevance; it is particularly important to demonstrate how your organization shares the same objectives and values as the Simple Plan Foundation, and what it specifically expects from the foundation.
As a reminder, the Simple Plan Foundation's mission is to primarily help young people in difficulty or who are seriously ill, prioritizing music as much as possible as a means of helping them express themselves and find a passion in life. In other words, as a kind of therapeutic tool.

The Simple Plan Foundation typically awards its grants once a year, in the fall. While the date and location vary from year to year, the names of the recipient organizations are traditionally announced between September and November; the list is published on our website as soon as possible. The deadline for receiving requests is May 31.
