Submissions are now open for the Art Canada Institute's flagship educational initiative fostering the future of art across the country. The Canadian Art Inspiration Student Challenge invites students from Grades 7-12 to create original artworks inspired by leading figures in historical and contemporary Canadian art.

Author visit: Dear Street and placemaking letter writing workshop with Lindsay Zier-Vogel

Author Lindsay ZIer-Vogel will read from her debut picture book, DEAR STREET, and lead groups from JK-Grade 3 in a placemaking exercise, asking them to write letters to things they love in their communities, that they will then hide for strangers to find, spreading place-based love in their community. 

Music Monday

Music Monday is a celebration of the impact of music education in our schools and in our communities.   On Monday May 1st, we will join together to celebrate music education by singing our Song of Celebration together at 12:30 pm ET.  Registration is free and will give you access to all the resources you need to teach the song to your class or learn at home.  There are numerous audio recordings, arrangements, lyric sheets, sing-a-long videos and a Learning Guide.
