Learning Through the Arts - Windsor and region

Learning Through the Arts, an exciting initiative from The Royal Conservatory (Toronto), partners skilled local artist educators with classroom teachers to deliver engaging arts-infused lessons in Math, Language, Science and Social Studies and more. LTTA's Windsor site has had a dynamic partnership with the Greater Essex County District School Board since 1999.

Learning Through the Arts - through painting, sculpture, creative movement, puppetry, drumming, traditional beading and more - brings school subjects to life in vivid, hands-on, memorable learning experiences. Students eagerly participate in lessons that get them moving, creating, collaborating and problem-solving.

LTTA Windsor's artist educators are skilled in making their arts processes accessible and enjoyable. Artists receive ongoing training in educational best practices, including the art of questioning, ages & stages, learning styles and teaching tactics.

With its head office in Toronto at The Royal Conservatory, LTTA's Windsor site, est.1999, is the longest-running Learning Through the Arts site in Canada.
