Rebecca Tremblay is a teacher with a love for theatre who discovered puppetry as a teaching tool, able to break down barriers on difficult topics, and reach children in a way that adults cannot. She founded her company, The Puppeteaching Project, in 2016, which performs educational puppet shows for schools, interactive workshops for children and long-term projects with classrooms where the children have the opportunity to write and perform a puppet show on a topic that is meaningful to them.
