  (We were one of the first companies that piloted the Alberta Artist in the School Residency Program) We offer 4 exciting Performing Arts Residencies for schools (Grades K-9), where every student is involved! Physical Theatre/Mime: Ends with a school-wide mime festival on the final day Literacy on Stage: Ends with performances of student adaptations of storybooks Environment: Ends with performances of student-created environment shows Language Arts Improvisation: Ends with a school-wide Improv Festival Supported by the Alberta Foundation for the Performing Arts: Arts and Education Grant

• Out-of-School Time
  
  We offer 2 week-long noon-hour drama programs in the schools usually paid for by parents.

• Field Trips
  
  In-school field trips involve the whole school in a show and a wonderful day of theatre workshops for grades K-9

• In-School Performances
  
  “Interview History”: 30 min performance where an historical character is interviewed (John A Macdonald, Louis Riel, Samuel de Champlain, Nellie McClung, Albert Lacombe, Marguerite d’Youville, William Shakespeare, V I Lenin, Catherine the Great, Leonardo da Vinci, for Grades 5-Adult) “Hats &Gloves”: 50 min multi-media theatre piece telling the true stories of 6 prairie women (audience grade 5 – adults) “Power-Up”: 30 min fun audience participation show teaching about alternative energy use (grade K-5) “Rooney Punyi Reading Show” 55 min hilarious audience participation show promoting literacy (grade k-6) “Rooney Punyi TREE Show” 20 min, fun audience involvement shows with theme songs (Grade K-2) “Saints Come Marching In” 30 min inspiring performance about peace-makers who made a difference in the world. (churches and grades 1-9) “Mary” (grades 7-12 and adults)

  Performing arts residencies where the whole school is involved. Vary in length depending on school size. Every class usually participates in 5 sessions. We also offer one day of sessions.
