  Geordie’s Mainstage School Matinée Series makes English language theatre accessible to all students. Performances take place at Concordia University's D.B. Clarke Theatre (1455 de Maisonneuve W.) and the Monument-National (1182 Boul St-Laurent). A study guide accompanies each production. The following groups benefit from a specially reduced-rate ticket: Elementary school groups, High School groups, CEGEP groups, Home School groups, Pre-schools, Daycares, and Outreach organizations. Schools may also be eligible for the Culture in the School financing program. Projects must be submitted in early fall.

• In-School Performances
  
  Geordie's annual 2Play Tour runs from September to April performing in schools all over Montreal as well as traveling across Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. From the Îles de la Madeleine to Chibougamau, Geordie brings professional live theatre into schools, community centres and libraries, traveling an average of 28,000 km each season and performing over 200 times to more than 40,000 students. To encourage dialogue on the performance and its subject matter, every performance is followed by a Q & A session, and comes with a FREE Teacher’s Study Guide which is available for download. NEW THIS YEAR: Geordie Theatre's 2Play Tour is going ONLINE! Geordie Theatre is livestreaming performances straight to your projector, Smartboard or devices at school or at home!

• In-School Workshops
  
  Geordie Theatre School (GTS) has a number of ways to fit into your school’s needs and can tailor our programming to work with you. Some of what we offer are: - Fall and Winter Sessions which run after school or at lunchtime on a weekly basis for 12 weeks, both sessions culminate in a final performance. - Specialized workshops which focus on an aspect of theatre and can run for any number of weeks after school or during class time. - One-time workshops either after school or during class time to help add some theatre to your regular schedule. - Workshops for teachers interested in incorporating theatre into their classrooms. - NEW THIS YEAR: GTS is going online!   Through Geordie's Mainstage Series, an annual season of plays for family audiences presented in downtown Montreal, the company allows its young audience to have contact with new perspectives and widen their horizons through the lens of live performance. Geordie offers exciting, insightful theatre that is sure to transport all audiences to new worlds and stories!

• Group Classes
  
  At Geordie Theatre School, your child will have the opportunity to build a solid foundation in acting by learning the craft from some of Geordie’s favorite theatre professionals who are passionate about teaching the next generation. We provide your child with a memorable experience that will increase their Confidence, Creativity and Craft, as well as nurture their love for the theatre. Each year GTS offers two sessions, one in the fall from September-December and one in the winter from January-May, both of which culminate in a public presentation.
