I paint primarily in oils and water colour and am currently taking inspiration from overgrown gardens, vegetables and yoga poses. I like testing the limits of what is possible and seldom produce a traditional image. Because I am also a writer I'm always experimenting with ways to introduce words and story into my visuals and I often incorporate several mediums and techniques such as wire, clay, beads and wood into one piece. I have painted several murals around the city and have also illustrated several books, both of my own and for other writers.
