I am an embroidery and screen-printing artist currently living in Halifax. The foundation of my art practise has always been on the fundamentals of drawing, and exploring do-it-yourself methods with various media. I am a self-taught embroiderer, and learned screen printing in Toronto. I like to combine traditionally gloomy objects, such as skeletons, with a bit of humour to create something playful and unexpected, especially for media sometimes considered to be stuffy and old-fashioned like embroidery.
