My practice has focused largely on community, education and creating work in collaboration with youth and my surrounding neighborhood. I have worked extensively in arts administration and have been involved in a wide variety of projects with schools, community groups, mental heath consumers and youth at risk. My personal work includes sculptural and functional ceramics, slip casting and three dimensional tile work that address issues of our changing culture, neighborhoods and environment. I am also a part time stay at home mom, part time ceramics instructor and part time social work student at Dalhousie University.
