Kim Sheppard

Kim Sheppard is an artist and educator from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sheppard graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 2007, then Mount Saint Vincent University’s Bachelor of Education as an art teacher in 2013. Sheppard’s work, spanning video, performance, drawing and painting has been exhibited in Canada and at festivals internationally. Sheppard’s recent work, a series of paintings and performances, focuses on the idea of wilderness as a space of otherness and non-meaning. Sheppard lives in Halifax dividing their time between teaching and working in their studio.
