Since graduating from Art School in 1988 David Patterson has been continually exploring and painting on a regular basis. He has managed to create a large body of work and has developed a unique style working with sand and oils. He creates a texture that captures the light and brings out the form with even greater depth. His colourful and energetic paintings reveal the inner workings of nature and the natural forces at work. His tree’s reach for the sky and the plants spread & wrap around each other in a harmonious intimacy. Flora & fauna in the dance of life revealing the continual energy that’s always present. David's style continues to evolve but his work always reflects nature and the natural forces in some way. He has had many showings of his art in numerous galleries & festivals. You will find his works in private and corporate collections throughout B.C. and Alberta.
His home and studio is located in White Rock/South Surrey.
