Helen Webster was born in Alberta and both the wide open spaces of the prairies and the vastness of the West Coast where she now lives are strong influences in her paintings. She is an Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, belonging to the Arrowsmith and Nanaimo Chapters, and has served in executive positions with the Nanaimo FCA.

Helen is an associate member of the Coast Collective Gallery in Victoria, the Nanaimo Art Gallery, and a past member of TOSH 10 Studio in Qualicum Beach.

Her work has also been shown in Gallery 223 in Nanaimo, in Victoria at the Coast Collective Art Centre and the Cedar Hill Gallery and The Old School House(TOSH) Art Centre, Artwox Gallery in Qualicum and the Galleries at Qualicum Stationers. Her pieces also hang in private and corporate collections in Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwestern United States and Germany.
