Robert Malo

Raised in a Franco-Manitoban Métis family, Rob Malo is a writer, performer, and community-builder who shares his passion for history and culture through traditional music, storytelling and song. Drawing on his background as an Educational Programs Developer at the Manitoba Museum and as a Professor in the Tourism Department of l'Université de St. Boniface, Rob has been awarded multiple Certificates of Excellence from Interpretation Canada for both TiBert le Voyageur live presentations and digital educational tools. An accomplished spoken word artist and French language improv artist as well as musician, Malo bridges cultural divides to generate an awareness of shared concerns and pleasures.

D'origine franco-manitobaine métisse, Rob Malo est auteur, interprète et animateur communautaire. Il partage sa passion de l'histoire et de la culture en utilisant la musique traditionnelle, le conte et la chanson sous le nom de TiBert le voyageur. Puissant dans son expérience de l'interprétation et de la programmation éducative Rob Malo a été professeur dans le département du tourisme de l’Université de St. Boniface, Développeur de programmes éducationnels au Musée du Manitoba et est aussi récipiendaire de multiples Certificats d’Excellence de Interprétation Canada pour ses ateliers et outils éducationnels. Artiste du spoken word, improvisateur et musicien d'expérience, Malo comble les fossés culturels et sensibilise les gens aux préoccupations et aux plaisirs partagés.
