Stephen Sim

Stephen Sim is a performer, writer, director and producer. He is known primarily for his work in
improvisation, having toured internationally for well over a decade with his duo CRUMBS, which he formed in 1997. He also founded the Winnipeg if… Improv Festival in 2000 to strengthen the growing improv community in Winnipeg and to bring National and International performers and teachers to work with the local acts. He has collaborated on several improv projects with international theatres as well as several festivals. Stephen has also been dedicated to improvisation education, teaching workshops worldwide as well as being the Regional Director for the Canadian Improv Games in Manitoba from 1999 to 2012. Stephen has also written comedy for CBC radio as well as writing, producing and voicing the splitters for DNTO on CBC radio. He continues to influence and champion improvisation as an art form worldwide.
