Kelly Andres

Andres is an interdisciplinary visual artist whose work emerges through a research-based art practice. Andres's projects are centred on critical ecology, perception and sensory stimuli as a modality to connect people to multi-species beings, facilitating alternative relations with diverse phenomena. Concepts materialize through mediums such as video, audio, sculptural installations and performative experiences. Recent exhibitions include Sandstone City at the Lougheed House in Calgary, The Garden of Speculations, articule, Montréal, le Centre des arts actuels Skol, Montréal, La Maison des arts de Laval, Laval, Actuel Contemporary, Winnipeg, PIKSEL, Bergen, Norway, Cirque du Soleil HQ, Montréal, and Action Art Actuel, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Andres lives and works near the hamlet of Nevis, Alberta, Canada.
