Leslie Wade teaches Suzuki violin in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She has been an active Suzuki -trained teacher since 1982 and was herself one of the first Suzuki educated violinists in Canada, studying in Calgary with Hiroko Kobayashi in the late 1960s. Leslie is also the parent of two children who were nurtured through the Suzuki philosophy. Leslie obtained her Bachelor of music degree in violin performance from Brandon University where she studied with Francis Chaplin, and her Masters of Music in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from Ithaca College, under the tuteledge of Linda Case and Sanford Reuning.
