I have always loved the arts and in particular visual arts. They express things that cannot be said in words and help me to work through whatever I am dealing with at the time.

I love the feeling of paint on my hands and how you can mix it and move it on the canvass. Also love throwing in extra touches like string, paper or glitter.

I have always been fascinated by the vastness of the universe and the patterns within it. Recently I have been exploring my place in the grand scheme of creation through acrylic and multi-medium works. Though the universe appears to be a chaotic swirling morass, there is an underlying mathematical and scientific language. Patterns in motion and cycles of nature. Threads that connect and run throughout life and generations to give it connection and meaning. I am but a small piece of this and my art is my way of exploring and expressing my awe.
