Collette Murray

Miss Coco Murray is a dance educator, scholar, and performer with experience in curation and arts programming. Her dance education practice facilitates arts integration using the knowledge and dances from the African and Caribbean diaspora. As an artist, researcher and arts leader, she designs culturally-responsive programs, offers presentations, lectures, workshops, dance instruction and performance featuring many dances across the globe. Her chapter on integrating anti-racist collaboration with guest arts educators in the Arts-Based Pedagogies: Integrating Culturally Relevant Creative Processes in K-12 education book is part of her doctoral research and practice. Murray's publications supports K-12 educators, school board administrators and ministry officials.
