  Day of the death workshop. This workshop is designed to explore the Mexican tradition of the dia de muertos, this ritual meant to honor our ancestors with joy, to celebrate our loved ones who have passed away. It has been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the Unesco. - An explanation of this tradition will be given, along with the meaning of the historical and decorative elements of the traditional altar. - The participants will create a model of the Altar of the Dead during 4 sessions (2 hrs each). We provide a teaching guide for this workshop. Atelier du jour de la mort. Cet atelier est conçu pour explorer la tradition mexicaine du dia de muertos, ce rituel destiné à honorer nos ancêtres avec joie, pour célébrer nos proches décédés. Il a été déclaré patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'humanité par l'Unesco. - Une explication de cette tradition sera donnée, ainsi que la signification des éléments historiques et décoratifs de l'autel traditionnel. - Les participants créeront une maquette de l'autel des morts au cours de 4 séances (2h chacune). Nous mettons à disposition un guide pédagogique pour cet atelier.

  Le tour du monde est une série d’ateliers artistiques donnant un aperçu des cultures provenant de différents continents. En étant ainsi exposé aux cultures du monde, les participants seront en mesure d’y reconnaître des valeurs communes au milieu qui lui est familier (harmonie, respect, solidarité, etc.), à travers de nouvelles approches. 341 / 5000 Translation results Around the World is a series of artistic workshops giving an overview of cultures from different continents. By being exposed to the cultures of the world in this way, participants will be able to recognize common values in the environment with which they are familiar (harmony, respect, solidarity, etc.), through new approaches.
