Exultate Chamber Singers

Founded in 1981, Exultate Chamber Singers has been known for sensitive, precise singing, richness of tone, and blended sound throughout a wide dynamic range. Exultate is a passionate, committed ensemble with a wide-ranging repertoire.

Under the direction of Dr. Mark Ramsay, Exultate was awarded first place in the chamber choir division of the 2019 National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs, re-affirming the choir’s reputation for excellence.

In addition to presenting its annual concert series, Exultate has made regular guest appearances around Ontario, released five albums, and enjoyed airplay on CBC Radio.

Exultate has sponsored a composition competition and a scholarship program for young choral singers, and has recently created an Apprentice Conductor Program. Exultate also has a continuing commitment to commissioning new works by Canadian composers, with four new ones planned for this year’s 40th anniversary.
