Hello, I’m Kathleen. I am an educator, collaborative pianist, and keyboardist. I hold Associate Diplomas (ARCT) in Piano Teaching and Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have over 30 years of teaching experience using the RCM curriculum, preparing students for piano and advanced theory exams. I specialize in teaching keyboard harmony and am an RCM Certified Specialist - Advanced - in Piano, Harmony, and History. My skills and experience as a professional musician allow my students to explore their musicianship skills beyond the exam curriculum. I specialize in online teaching and welcome students with at least one year of piano experience, ages 10 to adult, whether preparing for an exam, exploring musicianship skills, or returning to lessons as an adult.

As an accompanist I have had the pleasure of making music with instrumentalists and vocalists at exams, festivals, juries, and auditions.

As a keyboardist I have performed in intimate solo settings, dynamic band performances, and live recording sessions.
