Saroj Aryal (Sep 19- 1976) is a Nepali Theatre Actor, Director, Radio Program producer, Radio drama script writers as well as PSA for radio and television. Through his successful career in Nepali Theatre ,began after he finished one year acting training from cultural corporation of Nepal government ,( Sankritik sansthan) 1995.
Aryal first appeared onstage at final year class production, play was written by jha poul satre , (Respectable prostitute) ,where he was an actor and director too, under the famous and genuine theatre persona Mr.Sunil Pokhrel And Anup Baral. After that he worked with another genuine theatre director Mr. B S Rana in Famous Nobel Basanti, in basanti he cast for Psyche King, King Surendra, small role but that character was appreciated and he join in Naga Theatre, Naga Theatre produce English Play every year, he played as an actor on White Tiger, Panchatantra, Milaripa,Baburaja,Mahabharat.Also he is a director of AAkhyan Art Group, through Aakhyan he did stage plays and Hundreds street plays as a director. Same time he was freelance Radio drama script writer and producer and director on South Asian First Community radio, Radio Sagarmatha Fm102.4mhz and after one year of freelancing he was employed as a part time and after 2 year full time children radio program producer and presenter of LUKAMARI, which was very famous at that time( 1996 to 2006)but his theatre/street theatre drama play production also going on parallel. His psyche character on king Surendra and character of Crow on Panchatantra was unforgettable for audience and recently he is very popular on Prof.Dr. Abhi Subedi play Saandajuko mahabharat, from this play character Burja Shasak( kind of cruel king of remote village of period) LA BHAN BHAN BHAN BHAN..( Diolouge ) is on every audiences. And Makaiko arkai kheti charector Astrologer and Critic was very notable Character for the Nepali audiences. He was cast on biopic of political leader Bir Ganeshman where he was a Mr. Grija prasad Koirala. (Young age of former Nepal Prime minister)
His acclaimed play as a director was: Banko chari banai ma ramauchha, Praladh, Ranadulav,Bhoko Ghar,u mareki chaaina.
In 2000, Aryal started First ChildrenTheatre comapny name Pumpkin Theatre , whose first play was Petu Pen, was very success on children, and its born a cartoon charetor PETU PEN,Pumpkin Theatre is popular on kathmandu based children and theatre movement, pumpkin moto is estasblish a children theatre in Nepal,and its sologan is education through theatre.Pumpkin worked on differents kinds of children(ex: physically and mentally handicap,) Story telling for blind childrens with live music in a very dramatic telling, workshp etc ) now Pumpkin is planning for making audio story book for children, which is based on there curiculum, working the establish of PETU PEN cartoon.

In addition to acting, Aryal is a humanitarian and has participated and spoken out for various social causes. Aryal has established himself as one of the most popular and influential actors/director of Nepali Theater He is the recipient of numerous awards.
He participated in theatre workshop in Canada, Japan, Germany for workshop leader (twice) AITA, and Bangladesh
in 2006 he went in United State Of America for Noh Theater workshop in Bloomsburg Theatre Company, after finished that he Joined In Lincoln Theatre Director Lab in New York ,USA 2007
He direct and act on short Movie "Fossil" as a director short movie Lets Play, 30 min teli film Chimeki. he is actively worked on theatre and preforming arts.4 plays one after another Sandaju ko mahabharat(written Prof.Dr.Abhi Subedi)Makaiko arkai kheti(written by:Prof.Dr.Sanjeev Upreti)Malini(Rabindranath Tagore)Shakespeare Hamlet and recently he acted on Indian Play writer Bishma Sahani Mythological Play Madhawi are on stage on 2015 and 16 after 10 years long back play for him. And recently he is engage children’s of remote villages of Sidhupalchok(very badly effected by Earthquake District of Nepal).
He is also busy on Films, His Upcoming Nepali Movies are GHAMPAANI, DHANAPATI, Pasina & Mister Jhole (post production) and work in progress movie is RUDANE based on Rupchandra Bista Biopic.
