ArtsNL - Community Arts Program (CAP)

ArtsNL is a non-profit Crown agency created in 1980 by The Arts Council Act. Its mission is to foster and promote the creation and enjoyment of the arts for the benefit of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.

ArtsNL receives an annual grant from the Province to support a variety of granting programs, program delivery, office administration, and communications. It also seeks support from the public and private sector. It supports the following artistic disciplines: dance, film, multidiscipline, music, theatre, visual art, and writing.

Sharing Wellness - Art Worksheets from the Health Arts Research Centre

We are very excited to share our easy-to-use and fun art activities with detailed information about supplies, step-by-step instructions and points of discussion. These worksheets provide a wide variety of exercises, including activities for all ages, groups of different sizes and art experience. All of the worksheets has, as their common goal, of talking about and sharing wellness with all those involved. You will find the art worksheets organized by style of art, including: movement, visual art, music, photography or words!

Canadian Art Inspiration Student Contest - 10 Great Artworks to Spark Creativity

This booklet of ten great Canadian artworks is designed to spark student creativity, and inspire student artworks that respond to major themes, artists, and works in Canadian art history. Original student artworks can be submitted to the Art Canada Institute's Canadian Art Inspiration Student Contest (submission deadline March 31st). New TVO Arts multi-media experience decodes and demystifies iconic Canadian art

What makes great art great? A new TVO Arts experience brings iconic Canadian art to life for all Canadians, building our understanding of these masterpieces and our appreciation for their relevance in our world today. TVO Arts at TVOArts.org reframes the discussion on Canadian art through animated “explainer”-style videos, engaging articles and interactive experiences that decode and demystify these national treasures. Participatory Creative Music Hub

The Hub showcases people from all walks of life creating music together.  Whatever you call it — participatory creative music, community music, jamming, co-composition, improvisation, music exploration, listening games or having fun with sound — The Hub celebrates music creativity for everyone. Whether they are 4, 40 or 94 years of age, an experienced musician or making music for the first time — everyone has active input in the creative process.
