Ontario Arts Council - Artists in Communities and Schools Projects

The program supports the research, development and realization of community-engaged arts projects. Activities involve professional Ontario artists and community members working together to develop and design a creative experience. These experiences may include co-creation. Skill building is a core component of projects. There are three categories:

Toronto Arts Council - Music Projects

Through its Music Program, Toronto Arts Council (TAC) provides Project funding to non-profit, Toronto music organizations and collectives to pursue one-time or time-limited music projects involving production, presentation, dissemination and/or other activities that contribute to the development of music in Toronto. The City of Toronto provides funding for this program through its Community Partnership and Investment Program.

Toronto Arts Council - Community Music Making

Toronto Arts Council’s Community Music Making recognizes the role that non-professional music organizations play in creating a dynamic and culturally engaged City. This program provides funding to support the Toronto-based activities of non-profit community choirs, opera, orchestras, and ensembles that are committed to building community through music making processes such as creation, workshops, concert production, and other related activities. The City of Toronto provides the funding for this program through its Community Partnership and Investment Program.

London Arts Council - Community Arts Investment Program

Community Arts Investment Program (CAIP)

Encouraging public awareness and appreciation of the arts, increasing access to quality local arts programming, and enhancing London's desirability as a community.

Administered by the London Arts Council and funded by the City of London, the Community Arts Investment Program has supported a range of artistic disciplines, including film and multimedia arts, literature, music, performing arts (such as dance and theatre), and visual arts. Calgary Arts Development supports and strengthens the arts to benefit all Calgarians.

As the city’s designated arts development authority, Calgary Arts Development supports and strengthens the arts to benefit all Calgarians. We invest and allocate municipal funding for the arts provided by The City of Calgary and leverage these funds to provide additional resources to the arts sector. Our programs support hundreds of arts organizations, individual artists, artist collectives, and ad hoc groups in Calgary.
