Winnipeg Studio Theatre is proud to present the first LIVE! Made in Manitoba Masterclass series – Musical Theatre Edition!
Under the direction of Brenda Gorlick and Kayla Gordon, WST Co-directors - this week long session program features top musical theatre artists from Manitoba who now perform and create for the world stage.
The roster includes artists Nyk Bielak – Lead performer in the Australian company of Book of Mormon, Mary Antonini, Jaz Sealey and Alexandra Frohlinger of Broadway shows - The Prom, Aladdin and Hello Dolly respectively, and Music Director at Sheridan College - Joseph Tritt.
The sessions, divided into 3 age groups Junior (age 10-13), Intermediate (age 14-17) and Adult (18+) cover all aspects of musical theatre performance – from training, auditions, acting, singing and dance technique for the professional stage. Each live session includes instruction as well as a Q & A with our guest faculty.
Brenda Gorlick, who created this project articulates: “Winnipeg Studio Theatre is offering an incredible opportunity for all ages. The quality of the ‘Made in Manitoba’ faculty is stellar, and we are so proud and excited to have them back leading 15 workshops spanning all areas of theatre training”.
Classes are being hosted at Drop-In Dance Winnipeg location; Live streamed options are also available for participants joining us from offsite.
