Uncovered features work from the Town of Oakville’s corporate collection by five Canadian artists. The exhibition brings together a variety of mid-century works including the abstract Face series paintings by Tim Rainey, wooden sculpture by Chris Alcock, and a mixed media quilt first produced for the Oakville Centennial Library by Walter Sunahara.  The large quilt series 100 + 20 / 4 = 30 by John Willard brightens the gallery walls alongside the delicate drawings of historic Oakville life by George McElroy. The exhibition runs from October 21 to November 17, 2019. Check out the QEP Exhibitions website for more details: https://www.oakville.ca/culturerec/public-art-and-exhibitions.html
